The Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) will be abolished in the future, as outlined in the manifesto of the National People\u2019s Power, which envisions \u201ca prosperous country and a beautiful life,\u201d Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya said.<\/p>\n
She made these remarks yesterday (12), during a public gathering near the Silawathura bus stop in the Musali electoral division of the Mannar District.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister noted that a committee has already been appointed by the Cabinet to oversee the repealing of the PTA, and necessary steps will be taken accordingly.<\/p>\n
